The Cunnamulla Hot Springs retreat required an integrated timber package blending structural support and architectural finish in the Queensland outback, withstanding extreme weather, UV and exposure while delivering a premium visitor experience.

High heat, UV exposure, termite risk and weather extremes meant the timber needed to survive and look premium under harsh conditions. The builder sought a single supplier approach for framing, decking, balustrades and facade finishes to simplify procurement and maintain stylistic consistency.

We supplied the full timber package: decking, balustrades, structural framing and façade cladding. The material choice was Ironbark (Class 1 durability) known for its natural decay/termite resistance. All timber complied with AS 2082 (Visually Graded Hardwood) and AS 5604 (Natural Durability Ratings). Deliveries were scheduled to match the build programme precisely, ensuring availability when required.
